Priyanka Chopra was reportedly caught flouting lockdown rules in London on Wednesday. The actor, who is currently living in London shooting for a film named Text For You, was seen visiting a salon with her mother when police came and appeared to vacate the salon.

The actor has however denied the allegation. Her spokesperson said that the salon was privately opened for Chopra the production team of Text For You film. The spokesperson also claimed that everyone including Priyanka had tested for the COVID-19 and as per the UK guidelines, which has allowed film and television production, every paperwork was presented to the police and “they left satisfied.”

The incident was reported by DailyMail which showed pictures of Priyanka Chopra and her mother at a salon owned by celebrity stylist Josh Wood in Notting Hill, London. The pictures also showed police stopping by and then Chopra was captured stepping out of the salon. She also had her dog accompanying her.

According to the new lockdown rules announced by the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, personal care facilities such as salons must be closed. The announcement was made after many tested positive of a deadlier COVID-19 strain in the UK.
