Parinda song from Saina: Parinda (means bird in English), the first song from the upcoming sports biopic Saina, has been dropped over the weekend and the track encourages you to win.

Taking to her Instagram on Sunday, badminton ace Saina Nehwalwrote, "Turn up the volume and tune in to Parinda if you're looking for a motivation-refill in your life." The lyrics say, “Why should I only be a bird, if I can be the sky. Why should I be just a page, if I can be the whole story.”
Parinda has been performed by Amaal Mallik, with lyrics by Manoj Muntashir. "Glad you like it, you’re the reason we could create something so powerful and magical," Mallik showed gratitude to Nehwal on Twitter after the release of the song. Saina is directed by Amole Gupte, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 26.

The video for Parinda primarily features Parineeti Chopra and actor Manav Kaul who will play the role of Nehwal’s coach in the film. It showcases the badminton player's hardworking and grit-driven training days. Recently, Chopra said, "It's a huge responsibility to essay someone like Saina Nehwal on screen. She is a legend and I was very scared about how people will react."

The film’s trailer was launched on March 8, on the occasion of International Woman’s Day. The Hasee Toh Phasee actor, Chopra had toldFilmfare in an interview that she has “worked hard” on the biopic and she wanted it to have a theatrical release. “Same goes with the Saina Nehwal biopic. All these films are so important to me. I have literally bet my life on them and worked hard on them. I would hate for them to have a compromised release,” she had said while talking about the release of Saina and her other upcoming film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
