Parinda from Saina released today: The first song from Parineeti Chopra's upcoming film Saina was released today. The film is a biopic based on life of badminton player Saina Nehwal.

Music director Amaal Mallik has both composed and sung the song, while the lyrics have been penned by Manoj Muntashir. The video for Parinda primarily features Parineeti Chopra and actor Manav Kaul who will play the role of Saina's coach in the film. Directed by Amol Gupte, Saina is scheduled to have a theatrical release on March 26.
The film's trailer was launched on March 8, on the occassion of International Woman's Day. "Growing up and looking up to the women around me, I have always got inspired. This is my chance to inspire a little girl out there to follow her passion. In cinemas on 26th March," Saina Nehwal wrote in her tweet, sharing the trailer of the film.
