In response, Koechlin explained that their decision was based on a mutual understanding to forgo marriage. She disclosed that her partner, Hershberg, had no inclination towards marriage. Additionally, she shared her prior marriage to director Anurag Kashyap and subsequent divorce.

Regarding the relationship between Koechlin and her partner Guy, their connection blossomed during an all-girls trip to Israel. Guy, who attended the same music school as one of her friends, joined the excursion along with the others.
Their journey together led to the arrival of their beautiful daughter, Sappho, in 2020, amidst the serene backdrop of Goa. While their residence is in Goa, Koechlin frequently commutes to Mumbai for professional commitments. Striving to balance her career and motherhood, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor ensures that her schedule is crafted to minimise time away from her daughter. In a previous interaction with The Times Of India, she expressed her desire for her daughter to be surrounded by lush greenery, which prompted her decision to relocate to Goa.
On the professional front, Kalki Koechlin is set to make an appearance in Made In Heaven 2. The recently unveiled official trailer of the web series showcases an ensemble cast including Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Jim Sarbh, among others. The much-anticipated web series is slated for its premiere on Prime Video on August 10, 2023. The movie Goldfish, starring Kalki Koechlin and Deepti Naval in prominent roles, is also slated for a theatrical release on August 25th.
