Gehana Vasisth's Nude Video Pointing Out "Hypocrisy" In Raj Kundra Case Goes Viral

Gehana Vasisth Nude Video: Actor Gehana Vasisth, who is out on bail the alleged porn video app case, that also led to the arrest of businessman Raj Kundra, recently shared a video on social media in which she was apparently nude. The television actor took this step to point out the alleged hypocrisy surrounding the porn app case.

"Friends I am sitting nude in front of you. Tell me, do I look vulgur or cheap or like something that could be counted in porn content?" Vasisth says in the video that was initially a live stream on social networking app Instagram. Vasisth goes on to claim in Hindi that she isn't wearing anything during the stream and yet this video can't put in the same category as porn. "But my other videos, in which am wearing clothes are still being called porn."

Vasisth's video comes after numerous interviews by the actor in which she has come out to defend Raj Kundra, who is married to actor Shilpa Shetty, and insisted that the app being targeted didn't put up content that could be labelled as porn.

Kundra was arrested on July 19 by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police in connection with alleged production and publication of pornographic video via a mobile app called HotShots. On July 27, Kundra's custody was extended by 14 days and he and his reported associate Ryan Thorpe were denied any relief in the matter. Vasisth was arrested in February this year, and later released on bail, in connection with the same case.

Denying claims that the app published porn content, Vasisth went on record after Kundra's arrest to say, "We all know what porn is, but we were not doing porn. One needs to watch these videos first and then call them porn.” The actor also said that they were doing what many other big apps had been making as well. "Why are they tagged as bold and ours is called porn? These are normal bold erotic films," she added.

Celebs like Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra came forward after Kundra's arrest and alleged that they were pressured by the company to produce content on their terms. Pandey went on to claim that when she tried to terminate the said contract, her personal mobile number was leaked online.

Reacting to Pandey's allegations, Vasisth said that she had openly said in 2011 that she will strip if India manages to win the World Cup being held that year. “How can these people say that Raj has put them in the adult industry? They used to make such videos even before Raj launched his company,” she insisted.

Who is Gehana Vasisth?

Vasisth's original name is Vandana Tiwari. She is best known for her work on shows like Gandii Baat and Behenein. Vasisth has also worked in Hindi and Telugu films, alongside doing close to 80 commercials. The actor came into news when she was earlier arrested from Madh Island with eight others. According to Mumbai Police, many actors were being lured into pornographic work on the pretext of acting jobs by the accused. The actor's representative went on to claim that she was being framed in the case and her involvement extend only to shooting erotica.
