2024 is gearing up to be a powerhouse year for female actors in Bollywood. A glance at the film calendars of these leading actresses reveals an array of diverse and compelling roles. Sara Ali Khan

In Ae Watan Mere Watan, Sara Ali Khan takes on a film based on true events, portraying a pivotal figure in India's fight for independence. Then, there's Baaghi 4, where she's reported to star alongside Tiger Shroff. Additionally, she's set to appear opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor in Metro in Dino, the sequel to Life in a Metro. This film will delve into complex relationships in a modern setting, exploring different shades and emotions of love.

Deepika Padukone

In 2024, Padukone will showcase her versatility by wearing different uniforms for her roles. In Singham 3, she takes on the character of Shakti Shetty in a police uniform, while in Fighter, she embodies Minnal Rathod in an Air Force uniform. Fighter featuring Hrithik Roshan is slated to release on January 25, and Singham 3 featuring Ajay Devgn is slated to release on August 15.

Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor also joins the cast of Singham 3 as Devgn's character's wife. Additionally, she's set to star in the highly anticipated film The Crew, alongside Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh. The movie revolves around three women and promises to be a tale set against the challenges of the airline industry. 

Kriti Sanon

Sanon takes on a dual role in The Crew, not just acting but also stepping into a producer's shoes. In another project, she's set to star alongside Shahid Kapoor. Reports suggest this upcoming untitled film where Sanon portrays a robot, with Shahid Kapoor playing a scientist who develops feelings for her. Additionally, she's slated to feature in the Meena Kumari biopic, helmed by Manish Malhotra.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt's upcoming project, Jigra, appears to revolve around a sister's unwavering love for her brother, showcasing her willingness to go to any lengths to safeguard him.

Kiara Advani

Kiara Advani is set to star alongside Ramcharan Teja in the highly anticipated action thriller Game Changer. The film has garnered significant anticipation in the South Indian cinema space. Additionally, Advani is in talks to take on a prominent role in the eagerly awaited spy action drama War 2. However, we still await confirmation on her part.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif's highly anticipated movie Merry Christmas is expected to deliver an engaging and compelling storyline. In this film, she shares the screen with Vijay Sethupathi.

Kangana Ranaut

Though Kangana Ranaut is currently facing a slump at the box office, 2024 can prove a game-changer for her. Based on the Indian Emergency, this biopic stars Kangana Ranaut as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, and many others.  

Shraddha Kapoor

She's set to star alongside Kartik Aryan in Chandu Champion, a film inspired by the remarkable true story of a resilient sportsman. Her eagerly awaited horror-comedy Stree 2 is slated for a 2024 release. 

Rashmika Mandanna

Mythri Movie Makers unveiled a fresh poster for Pushpa: The Rule on Rashmika Mandanna's birthday, featuring her character Srivalli adorned in opulent silks and gold, reflecting her transformed fortunes from the first instalment, Pushpa: The Rise.

Additionally, she stars alongside Vicky Kaushal in a historical drama centred on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Moreover, she's slated to headline The Girlfriend, a film focusing on a woman-centric storyline.

Shilpa Shetty 

Rohit Shetty's cop universe takes a gripping turn with the much-anticipated web series, Indian Police Force. The stalwart trio of Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi, embodying the essence of the Indian Police Force, emerges as the last line of defense. Their mission is to apprehend the elusive mastermind orchestrating the mayhem. Shilpa Shetty is hailed as the initial female cop in Rohit Shetty's cop universe, and her portrayal appears promising in the trailer. 

Raveena Tandon

Following the triumph of her debut web series, Aranyak, Raveena Tandon returns with another thrilling series titled Karmma Calling. In this upcoming show, the actor takes on the role of Indrani Kothari, a glamorous 90s queen who is presently married to a billionaire. Indrani's dominance in Alibaug encounters a challenge when she encounters a girl named Karma Talwar.

Namrata Sheth portrays Karma Talwar, depicted as a determined individual seeking revenge with a relentless attitude. Her quest embodies a desire for reciprocity, seeking an eye for an eye, blood for blood, and employing deceit to retaliate against deception. The show's trailer unveils Raveena's character, Indrani, who goes to great lengths to confront Karma but appears poised to confront the consequences of her past transgressions.
