Alia Bhatt has been regularly updating her Instagram followers from the sets of her upcoming film, Jigra. Bhatt is all set to grace the silver screen in September 2024 with the upcoming film Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala.
Alia Bhatt recently posted two fresh grayscale images from the filming location. The first captures her preparing for a scene, while the second shows her gazing directly into the camera through a glass surface.

The film, which appears to revolve around the profound love of a sister towards her brother, and her unwavering commitment to safeguard him, is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Bhatt's own Eternal Sunshine Productions.

In the video, Alia Bhatt is depicted as a character wearing a shirt and trousers, carrying a backpack, and exuding a sombre demeanour. The scene is set on a street adorned with neon lights and billboards as if she is awaiting someone. Bhatt's voiceover in the video conveys a protective message to her brother, saying, "Look at me. You wear my rakhi, right? You are under my protection. I won't let anything happen to you. Ever."

In 2022, Alia Bhatt made her debut as a film producer with the release of Darlings. During this time, she introduced her own production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions. While announcing Jigra Bhatt shared in her caption, "Every day is a different day… exciting, challenging (and a little scary)… not just as an actor but also as a producer as we bring this film to life, and I CANNOT wait to share more as we move forward."
