POTUS Unfollows Chrissy Teigen Because She Couldnt "Flourish" On Twitter

Chrissy Teigen Twitter account is off the POTUS list, one month after being on it. She says it's not him, it's her. Here's what happened.

POTUS and Chrissy Teigen Twitter saga: Few things in the world are sharper than Teigen's account on the microblogging website. But when the President of the United States (POTUS) account followed her in January this year, per her own request, things... changed.

No more fiery words, no more candid anecdotes. Teigen's account, in her own words, couldn't "flourish." The pressure of propriety, of course, has to be immense when you are the only celebrity President Joe Biden's official account follows. Which is why on February 23, Teigen requested him "to please lord unfollow" her.

As he did when she first asked him for a follow, POTUS listened. And as of Tuesday, Teigen, who previously held the honour of featuring on the POTUS follow list on Twitter, is a "free" woman.

Her tweets came in succession:

Teigen, known for her takedowns of former President Donald Trump, had long been blocked by the POTUS account when he was the national leader. On the morning of Biden and Kamala Harris’ Inauguration, Teigen wrote on Twitter, “hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz”

POTUS assented. Among administration officials and White House aides, one Chrissy Teigen Twitter account shone bright.

That follow, however, seemed to have cost her the bareness with which she tweeted her mind. Almost exactly a month after POTUS first followed, Teigen requested for an unfollow. "I love you!!! It’s not you it’s me!!!!" she

This breakup wasn't too messy, thankfully. It happened real smooth and easy.
