Chehre release date: Chehre, the Rumy Jafry directorial, is set to release in theatres on August 27, 2021. It features Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Rhea Chakraborty, Krystle D'Sousa and Siddhant Kapoor in the lead roles.

The movie revolves around an 80-year-old Advocate, Veer Sahay (Amitabh Bachchan). In the trailer, we are introduced to an ad agency executive, Karan Oberoi (Emraan Hashmi) who takes shelter at the advocate's home amidst a snow storm.
Chehre synopsis
Advocate Sahay and his clan of veterans convince Karan for a game of crime and punishment. Though it appears to be interesting in the beginning, he soon finds himself trapped with no way to escape.
The movie narrates the tale of polarised individuals who are fighting against a crime. There is an air of mystery around the characters. It is this mystery that unfolds in the course of the film. The audience will experience a "verbal conflict" between Veer and Karan.
Chehre release date
The movie has undergone several sessions of rescheduling in terms of its release date. It was set to release on April 24, 2020. Reportedly, the makers of Bachchan's Gulabo Sitaborequested a date change to avoid clash. It was then decided that the film will release on July 17, 2020.
However, due to the surge in COVID-19 cases, the date was postponed to April 9, 2021. But unforeseen circumstances led to a delay in the release date yet another time. Chehre is finally releasing on Aug 27, 2021 in the theatres near you.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Krystle D'Souza announced the release date of her Bollywood debut. Actor Emraan Hashmi too announced the release date of his next movie saying, "Iss khuli kitaab mein kahi raaz chhupe hain... Jaan ne ke liye dekhiye #Chehre in cinemas on 27th August."
