Chehre film: Actors Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan shared the latest poster of the Chehre film on their Twitter handles. This is their upcoming film project which is slated to be released on April 30 in cinemas.

The film is a mystery-thriller which is being directed by Rumi Jaffry. The poster shows Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi wearing serious expressions. However, actor Rhea Chakraborty can’t be seen in the poster which features other actors like Krystle D’Souza, Annu Kapoor, Drithiman Chatterjee and Raghubir Yadav.

Rhea Chakraborty had shared her first look from the Chehre film in 2019

According to reports, Rhea Chakraborty was going to be a part of the film Chehre and had even shared the first look from the film way back in July 2019. However, the poster doesn’t include her name in the cast, nor does it feature her photo.

Now desi Twitterati has raised questions on whether Krystle D’Souza has replaced Rhea Chakraborty in the film. They also pointed out that the Chehre film team didn’t even tag the actor.

Here’s how people reacted:

Rhea Chakraborty was caught up in a controversy after Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death last year and was subsequently arrested as well. Many celebrities from Bollywood stood by her, and one amongst them was Rumi Jaffry. In an interview to Spot E, he said, “It has been a traumatic year for her. Of course, the year was bad for everyone. But in her case, it was a trauma on another level. Can you imagine any girl from a well-to-do middle class family spending a month in jail? It has crushed her morale completely.”

Rumi also added that Rhea will get back to work soon, and will surely go through her traumatic phase. He also said that she had become “quiet and withdrawn” after everything she went through.
