The Instagram account seems to have been temporarily removed. Sharma’s fans have taken to their social media handles to post screenshots of the Instagram user’s profile, demanding that police and cybercrime authorities take action. Meanwhile, Sharma hasn’t commented on the harassment yet.

There have been several threats against Adah Sharma and the film’s director, and Sharma recently also met with an accident. She later shared a health update on social media, informing people that she and the other team members who were in the car accident were doing well and that nothing serious or major happened. She thanked the audience for their concern.

The Kerala Story talks about terrorism and religious conversions, with the plot revolving around three women. Since the plot is a highly sensitive subject, the film has been facing several controversies even before its release.

Despite some calling the film “propaganda,” many audiences have appreciated the film for its strong stance against terrorism. After The Kerala Story crossed the Rs. 200 crore mark at the box office, Adah Sharma took to her Instagram handle to thank the audience for making this happen.

She wrote a heartfelt message, lauding the director for taking a huge risk in making this film without any backing from studios and Sudipto Sen for standing by his seven years of research work despite all the odds. She expressed her gratitude to the director, Vipul Amrutal Shah, for trusting her with her character, Shalini Unnikrishnan.
