The teaser opens with Adah Sharma portraying the character of IPS Neerja Madhavan, addressing the pressing issue of Naxalism in India. What further stirs controversy is the mention of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in the teaser. Adah Sharma's character reveals that JNU celebrated the deaths of 76 soldiers killed by Naxals in Bastar, condemning the alleged support for Naxal ideology within prominent academic institutions. The character's strong condemnation of left-leaning intellectuals and their alleged sympathy towards Naxals add layers of political intrigue to the narrative.

The teaser portrays Adah Sharma as an IPS officer on the frontlines of the battle against naxalism, depicting her character in a soldier-at-war appearance. Her fiery dialogue delivery and determination to confront the Naxal threat head-on captivate viewers and heighten anticipation for the film's release.  Apart from Adah Sharma, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast including Indira Tiwari, Vijay Krishna, Yashpal Sharma, Raima Sen, and Shilpa Shukla.

Directed by Sudipto Sen, known for his work in The Kerala Story, and written by Amarnath Jha, Sudipto Sen, and Vipul Shah, Bastar promises to be a gripping cinematic experience.  With its provocative themes and powerful performances, Bastar is poised to make a significant impact upon its release on March 15.
