Sonam Kapoor who was last seen in the movie The Zoya Factor and had a small role in Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap's AK Vs Ak in 2020 took a little break from Bollywood to give time to her family. While fans missed the actor, Sonam Kapoor is all set to make a solid comeback with an unexpected role.

Shome Makhija's crime thriller Blind which is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name is bringing Sonam Kapoor back to her work after a career break with an intense role. The movie stars Kapoor in a lead role of a blind woman against Purab Kohli as a serial killer.
In the trailer, Sonam Kapoor can be seen as a blind woman with strong intuition and a 6th sense. While Purab Kohli best known for his role in Criminal Justice can be seen as a serial killer who abducts and tortures girls.
Kapoor's character finds herself in a murderous chaos where a girl named Mia goes missing, she is a second woman who has gone missing in Scotland. Kapoor's character didn't witness the crime but her intuition makes her suspicious of Purab Kohli. Kapoor claims that she might have leads regarding the missing girl's case but she is first dismissed by Vinay Pathak's character as an investigator of the case, but Kapoor's character takes him by surprise as she showcases her strong intuition to the audience and Pathak.
The trailer then moves ahead with chaotic thriller scenes full of suspense creeping with Purab Kohli's maniac character adding up to the psych as Kapoor and Kohli are in an edgy cat-rat chase and fight while the fight for Sonam is now "personal." The trailer has mystery, and suspense even after revealing the most pivotal layer, the thrill of the chase, and the creeps of the serial killer, with fight sequences kept watchers engaged.
The film is the second time the duo filmmakers of Kahaani 2 Sujoy Ghosh and Shome Makhija will be coming together. The movie stars Kapoor and Kohli in the lead cast while Vinay Pathak, Lillete Dubey, and Shubham Saraf are also starring in this movie. The filmmakers have interestingly yet not disclosed the names of any of the characters. Is it to add up to the suspense? We will find out soon.
The trailer seems promising with fine scenes and strong writing with an intriguing plot.
Sonam Kapoor will next be seen in Shashank Ghosh's Battle of Bittora along with Farhan Akhtar who replaced Fawad Khan for the lead role.
