Katy Perry put her most fashionable foot forward by opting for a custom ensemble by Vivienne Westwood. The backless gold metallic gown featured a plunging neckline, and an exaggerated train giving the outfit lent an ethereal appeal to the look. The singer went for a fuss-free hairstyle by tying it in a bun. She added a pair of oversized earrings to match the golden metallic gown.

Princess Charlotte and her mother, Kate, the Princess of Wales, sang along as Perry performed her pop hit “Roar.”

The newly crowned monarch and his wife appeared to enjoy the show as Lionel Richie stepped out to perform “All Night Long,” at one point getting up on their feet and swaying to the music.

Top Gun star Tom Cruise appeared in a recorded video message, saying: “Pilot to pilot. Your Majesty, you can be my wingman any time.”
