The wait is over for actor Sonam Kapoor's fans as she will be soon returning to the big screen. After taking career hiatus to start a family, she will soon be seen in two tentpole projects, details of which are not yet disclosed. Sonam Kapoor to restart her career has signed with Yash Raj Films’ talent management division, YRF Talent. Kapoor will be exclusively managed by the agency YRF Talent, which managed stars including, managed Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rani Mukerji, and more.

Sonam Kapoor Signs With YRF Talent

The news is also big because YRF Talent has broken its long tradition. For the first time, they signed an actor whom they did not launch. Sonam Kapoor debuted in 2007 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. The talent agency will be focusing on building ‘Brand Sonam Kapoor’ locally and globally.

In a PinkViila report, confirming the news Prithwish Ganguly, Vice President of Talent & Communications Strategy, said, “It is exciting to join forces with Sonam Kapoor as she charts her path to return to the movies. Sonam is a unique and very exciting brand. We are delighted to onboard her as an artiste that we will manage exclusively and curate her brand strategy globally.”

The agency welcomed Sonam Kapoor by making an Instagram announcement. The caption on the post read- Welcoming Bollywood star Sonamkapoor to the YRF Talent Family! We can't wait to make #EverydayPhenomenal with you!

Sonam Kapoor is known for her quirky roles in Aisha, Raanjhanaa, Khoobsurat, and Veere Di Wedding. She has been critically acclaimed for playing unconventional roles in Neerja, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, and more. 

Sonam Kapoor's opinion on social issues has been highly strong. She has always been an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. Kapoor has been supportive of women in the workplace, voicing for women and their rights. Her films have also reflected her stand on women's rights
