380 feet high Victoria Falls on the Zambezi river is situated on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. One of the world's largest waterfalls, Victoria Falls has a natural basin just on its edge which is known as Devil's Pool as it is similar to staring at death when you look down from there. However, as dangerous as it may sound, laying at the Devil's Pool and looking over the waterfall is actually a thing and there is a video of a woman doing this which is going viral.

Woman Leans On Victoria Waterfall

The now viral video was shared on December 30, 2022 by Weird and Terrifying on Twitter with the caption, "Just learned that standing this close to a 380 feet waterfall is a thing (Devil's pool - Victoria falls )". The video showed a woman lying on the edge of Victoria Falls looking down towards the direction of the falling water as the stream runs past her and down to the abyss. The stunt looked dangerous as the high flow of water seemed like it would take the woman down with it. However, the woman posed confidently while the camera spanned to the scenery.

The people who watched the video seemed concerned over the fact that the stunt is really risky. A Twitter user wrote, "PLEASE tell me there are reliable tethers around her ankles! (I suspect there are, since the camera doesn't show her lower legs.)" Another one wrote, "Like if you fall off a waterfall and die you’re a clown". A user shared his own picture that he took lying at the Devil's Pool, Victoria Falls and wrote, "I did this over the summer. It’s awesome!"

The viral video looked serene but the risk that the people take to picture or shoot at such dangerous locations is really big. Do tell us how you felt about the video in the comments.
