Gauahar Khan slams Lucknow girl: Actor Gauahar Khan spoke about the viral video of a Lucknow girl hitting a cab driver.
She said that the man set an example as to how one should behave in such a situation. On the other hand, the woman misused her position of power. She also 'saluted' the man for not behaving inappropriately in the given situation.

Talking about the incident to the media on Friday, the Ishaqzaade actor Gauahar Khan said that the man in the video did not retaliate in the same manner and showed respect. This shows his upbringing and it is this kind of men India needs, she said. Regarding the woman's behaviour, Khan said that she took the advantage of her gender and "she crossed the limits of decency."
What is the viral Lucknow girl incident?
For the uninitiated, last week, a video of a woman identified as Priyadarshini Yadav thrashing a cab driver at Awadh crossing, Lucknow went viral. Yadav alleged that the cab driver speeded in her direction and would have run over her.
As seen in the clip, Yadav dragged the driver, Saadat Ali by his collar and thrashed him. The police subsequently penalised Ali and his two relatives. Later, the driver claimed that he was made to pay Rs. 10,000 to release his cab from the police station. After the video started making rounds on the internet, Yadav was booked.
Gauahar Khan was last seen in the film 14 Phere in the role of Zubina. It starred Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles.
