Recently, a video of an air hostess in which they can be seen giving mid-air medical aid to a passenger after he got injured by the lid of the baggage compartment went viral.

The incident came to light after a passenger from the same flight recorded a video and posted it on Twitter, praising the cabin crew's prompt action.

The video is nearly just 45 seconds long in which an air hostess can be seen applying an ointment to the finger of an injured passenger on the flight while the other passengers were just settling down at the time of departure.

After applying the ointment, she leaves and after a moment comes another air hostess who brings along a band-aid that she applies to the injured finger of the passenger in the most careful way possible. The video also shows the injured passenger thanking the cabin crew for their help.

The video was shared by a Twitter user named Irfan Ansari who was travelling on the same flight, he shared the video with the caption "Dear IndiGo, Please reward both cabin crew, I know it's their job but the way they treated I believe our relative also will not take care the way they did, Salute, Big respect to the girls and IndiGo."

The airline replied to the Tweet, thanked the user who shared the video and said, "We're glad to hear that our staff assisted you well." The airline added that the message would be passed along and asked the user to share his PNR.

The video was shared on Twitter on December 28, but as per the stamp on the video it was taken on December 27. After the video was shared it quickly went viral on the internet and people really appreciated and praised the act done by the cabin crew of the flight.
