On Camera, Two Women Assaulted Teen In UK Park

A horrifying video of two women punching and kicking a teenager in a park in Leicestershire, United Kingdom, has gone viral on social media. Authorities have launched an investigation into the video after it surfaced on the internet.

The video was uploaded by a Twitter user who goes by the name Deano on Wednesday. Apparently, the girl in the video is the Twitter user’s younger stepsister.

The viral video shows two women pushing down a teenage girl in a park on Station Road, Ashby, on Saturday. The two women kept punching and kicking the girl repeatedly. At the end of the video, the women were seen kicking off the bag that the teen girl was holding onto.

Posting the video, the Twitter user wrote that the girl in the video was his younger stepsister, and this happened to her this weekend. He claimed that she wouldn’t even say "boo to a ghost, yet pissed-up girls in the park jumped her." He further requested that everyone share the video.

In a following tweet, the user mentioned the assault happened at Ashby-de-la-Zouch. He also added that this was not the first time this had happened.

Reacting to the viral video tweet, the Leicestershire police tweeted that they were aware of the video and that they were carrying out further investigations into the incident. They assured that they would talk to those involved and urged anyone with information about the incident to contact them.

Watching the video, several netizens were appalled. One user commented that they were horrified to see the level of bullying and called it horrific. Another netizen called the incident absolutely disgusting and insisted that the original video be handed over to the police. A third user inquired if the girl was doing okay. Another user called out the people standing behind them and watching the video for not stepping in and breaking up the assault.
