Watch: Haryana Woman Chases Away Gunmen With Broom As They Open Fire

CCTV footage from the alleys of Haryana's Bhiwani shows a horrifying incident of open firing in daylight where two gunmen are seen shooting at a man standing outside his house. What grabs everyone's attention is a fearless elderly woman armed with a broom chasing away the gunmen despite them firing even at her.

The man identified as Harikishan is an accused in the murder case of Ravi Boxer linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He was currently out on bail and that's why the gunmen decided to attack him. The gunmen who shot nine rounds of bullet shots are still on the run. 

Woman Chases Away Gunmen With 'Broom' As They Open Fire

The video of CCTV footage that is now running viral on social media is from Haryana's Bhiwani. The incident took place at about 7:30 am on Tuesday when a man was attacked by two gunmen as he was standing right outside the gate of his house. 

According to the reports, Harikishan is accused of the murder of Ravi Boxer purportedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. About three months back, Bhiwani police also arrested five people for plotting the murder of Harikishan. 

A police officer told the media that Harikishan who got injured with four bullet shots was referred to PGIMS Rohtak for further treatment, while police are skimming different CCTV footage to nab down the two gunmen accompanied by the two bikers. 

The Video

The video starts with a Harikishan standing right outside the gate of his house when two bikers can be seen stopping near him while the two gunmen sitting behind the bikers abruptly start firing. Harikishan can be seen quickly running towards his gate, however, falls on his knees right outside. He then manages to rush inside to shut the attackers out. 

As the attackers come almost to his gates trying to open the doors, an elderly woman is seen entering the frame armed just with a broom. She can then be seen chasing away the gunmen.

It was reported that the woman did not seem to carry any injuries from the shots. She can also be seen checking up on  Harikishan after the assailants run away.
