US Woman Poses As 14-Year-Old Online To Have Sex With Teenagers

A 23-year-old woman in the US is charged with posing as a 14-year-old schoolgirl to lure teenage boys to have sex with her in Florida. The woman is also facing molestation charges.

In a disturbing case of performing sexual acts on school-going teenagers by an adult, a 23-year-old woman in Florida, US has been charged with around 30 acts of sexual misconduct against mid-schoolers ranging from age 12-15 years old. The woman allegedly posed as a 14-year-old girl online to lure young boys to engage in sexual activities with her.

The woman identified as Alyssa Ann Zinger (23) in court documents created a fake persona on Snapchat as a 14-year-old schoolgirl in the neighbourhood of Tampa, Florida to lure young boys aged between 12 to 15 years old to engage in sexual activities with her as she sent explicit videos, had sex multiple times with minors, and is now charged with fresh set of molestation charges.

The woman was first arrested in November 2023 for allegedly engaging in at least 30 sexual acts with at least one minor mid-schooler aged 12 to 15 years of age while sending explicit videos to many. The woman was given bail after she successfully paid the bond charges.

However, Zinger was once against arrested on Thursday with additional charges to her previous charges as new four victims came forward to the Tampa police Department alleging Zinger committed various sexual misconducts against them. Tampa police believe there could be more additional targets of Zinger. 

Zinger is imposed with seven counts of lewd or lascivious molestation, four counts of lewd or lascivious battery (inappropriate touch), possession of child pornography, sexual cyber harassment, and transmission of child pornography. Zinger is now facing a total of 11 counts of felonies.

The first survivor who came forward claimed Zinger and he had sex multiple times and she sent him several sexually explicit photos and videos. Another one alleged Zinger had sent those explicit videos and photographs to many other children on Snapchat depicting sexual intercourse over chat. 

A third survivor alleged while engaging in sexual acts with him, Zinger also once said she had had sex with other teenagers as well. Zinger was also once found shoplifting with one of the other victims and told the cops she was born in 2009. When the cop was able to figure out Zinger was born in 2001 and not 2009, Zinger allegedly told desperate lies that she had a half-sister with a similar name to hers. 

The chief of the Tampa Police Department, Chief Lee Bercaw expressed how unsettling and disturbing it is to know an adult taking advantage and prey on young kids like a predator. He also urged others living in the locality encouraging them to please reach out to the police if they have been the targets of Zinger. The officer also shared how most sufferers of Zinger are between 12-15-year-old school-going boys. 

The news shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by @CollinRugg attracted many netizens from various locations as many opined that the victims and teenage boys "very well knew" Zinger was not 14, while one user even shared of screenshot of Zinger's TikTok video.

Another user highlighted the incident to be equally problematic and deserving of equal punishments irrespective of the gender of the perpetrator as the user wrote: "A lot of guys are going to disagree, but... She’s a pervert and should have the book thrown at her, just as a man should."
