Hilary Swank Welcomes Twins: "Wasn't Easy. But Boy And (Girl) Was Worth It"

48-year-old Hilary Swank recently welcomed twin babies, boy and a girl.

On Monday, Hilary Swank, posted a picture on her social media account, comprising of herself standing with her back towards the camera, adorned in a robe, and carrying a baby in both of her arms.

She also expressed her Easter wishes by saying, "Wishing you all a fantastic Easter!" and mentioned that her message was sent from a place of pure happiness.

"This is something I have always wanted to do, and my aim now is to be there for my children as a mother." the actor continued. "Not just of one, but of two."

Hilary has given birth to twins, marking the first time she has become a mother. She has been married to Philip Schneider since 2018, according to several reports. In October 2022, Hilary Swank, along with her husband Philip Schneider, shared the news of their pregnancy with twins. Her pregnancy journey was documented in social media, with the actor sharing a photo of herself and her baby bump next to a Christmas tree with the caption, “We are extremely happy for these two once-in-a-lifetime presents!!" "Oven's heatin' up, dough's beginning to rise!" The actor said while speaking of her developing baby bump.

During an interview in October last year, Swank, who is best known for her performances in Million Dollar Baby and P.S. I Love You, revealed that when her pants were too tight during filming, so she resorted to cutting them open and wearing a jacket to conceal her growing belly.

Actor Juliette Lewis offered her congratulations to the "beautiful and strong mother and her babies".

While speaking on Live! With Kelly and Ryan, Swank provided additional information about her family history. She disclosed that her grandmother and her husband's grandmother were both twins, indicating a familial connection to twins.

On social media before her childbirth, she playfully asked her followers if she should give birth while playing Push It by Salt-N-Pepa in the background.
