American Actor Anne Heche Still Unconscious After Deadly Car Accident

Following a terrible vehicle accident on Friday in Los Angeles, American actor Anne Heche is reportedly in a "very severe state" and a coma. According to a representative for the Emmy-nominated performer Anne Heche, her condition is far worse than it first looked over the weekend.

Anne is currently in a very severe situation. The representative added in a statement that she has extensive burns that call for surgery as well as pulmonary injuries that necessitate mechanical ventilation. The statement said, "She is in a coma and has not awakened since immediately after the accident."

Heche's publicist issued a positive statement on Saturday listing her as being "in stable condition," which was followed by the second statement two days later. Heche's family did, though, want "thoughts and prayers" at the time. Heche has been in the hospital after her car collided and caught fire in the Mar Vista neighbourhood of Los Angeles on Friday.

It took 59 firefighters 65 minutes to extricate Heche safely from the wreckage after the fire had consumed both her vehicle and the home she had collided into. She was apparently able to talk at the moment but quickly fell unconscious.

Heche was caught on camera speeding and driving erratically in the moments before the collision, as well as getting into another, smaller automobile accident a few blocks away. This has led to a lot of conjecture over Heche's health before the collision. Heche was heard slurring her words on a podcast that was released on Friday. As per reports, the podcast was recorded on Tuesday.

After the Friday collision that left the actress's automobile completely inside the Mar Vista home, which caught fire and was mostly damaged, authorities secured a warrant, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Annie Hernandez told City News Service earlier in the day.
