A couple from Gujarat took their vows in a truly unique and chilly setting - the snow-capped Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, amid temperatures reaching a bone-numbing -25°C. The viral video of this chilling wedding is now making rounds on the internet with netizens having many opinions about it.

The viral wedding video shows the bride and groom, adorned in traditional Indian wedding attire, exchanging garlands under a specially decorated mandap. Guests bundled up in warm clothes, adding to the surreal scene of celebrating love amidst a winter wonderland.

The video that was initially shared by an X (formerly Twitter) user stated that the wedding took place in extreme weather conditions due to the bride's headstrong will to get married in the snow-capped destination of Spiti Valley and in the video the bride can be seen happily getting off the car and enjoying the snow. 

The woman in another video shared by @GoHimachal_ was seen performing a wedding ritual with her groom and later they were seen shivering with cold biting weather and people helping them wear gloves after rituals. Following the rituals, the happy couple posed with a certificate that read: "Longest Road Trip Wedding Expedition" and later the bride drove off the decorated car driving and enjoyed her vidaayi as her dream came true.

The caption of the video can be translated as: "A wedding like this too! Gujarat's loving couple due to the stubbornness of the girlfriend found themselves in the valley of Spiti, where the 'mandap' (wedding pavilion) was decorated at -25°C. This stands as the first-of-its-kind case. An extraordinary marriage took place in Spiti's Murang. This is an example of a destination wedding."

As the video garnered 28.6k views and 336 likes since the day it was posted, the video also reached the Himachal Pradesh government by sharing the video on the handle @GoHimachal_ who shared the video and commented under it as "Contact  @manglaya if you want to host destination weddings like this in India and abroad."

The video, shared by an official from the Himachal Pradesh government, has garnered mixed reactions. While many netizens applaud the couple's adventurous spirit and the breathtaking visuals, others expressed concerns about potential health risks associated with such extreme temperatures.

A user wrote: "All that’s fun until one guy stands up and asking for oxygen." Another critically added "Barati jabran shaheed hue inke adventure me" meaning the wedding guests got caught up in the antics of their adventure for no reason.

However, another user concerned about the cleanliness of tourist places and such destinations wrote: "Please gather all the litter and waste generated at the end of all the functions, so that someone else can also enjoy the similar moments in future!!"
