Son Books Helicopter Ride For Mom: What does a mother's heart desire? That her children work hard, become self-sufficient and  good citizens of the society? Pradeep Garad, son of Rekha Dilip Gard, has fulfilled one more wish of her mother. He made sure she sat in a helicopter and toured the entire city on her 50th birthday.

Pradeep's family resides in Ulhasnagar, Thane. He has two more siblings. His father passed away when he was studying in class 7th. The mother, however, made sure that all her three children receive quality education. She used to work at other people's homes to earn her livelihood. When Pradeep was in class 12th, a helicopter flew over their house and the mother wondered if they would also get a chance to sit in it one day. Pradeep resolved to fulfil her wish in the future.

He is now working in a construction company on a good post. They even shifted to a flat from the chawl they were earlier staying in. According to him, his mother's 50th birthday was a great occasion to surprise her with a helicopter tour, as per sources.

Mother's Reaction

On the pretext of taking his mother to Siddhivinayak on her 50th birthday, they reached the Juhu airbase directly. She was stunned seeing the helicopter there. Her eyes welled up with tears during the ride. She hopes every mother to be blessed with a son like Pradeep.

Another such heart-warming story is of Rajasthan-based Bhavesh Lohar. Her mom worked as a domestic help to make ends meet. Through hard work and determination, the son landed himself a job at Ford.
