Patil is a right-handed batter and a right-arm off-break bowler, offering valuable versatility to the RCB lineup. Her talent shone brightly in the inaugural WPL season, where she emerged as the tournament's leading wicket-taker, earning the prestigious Purple Cap. Her impressive haul of 13 wickets in eight matches played a key role in RCB's championship run.

But Patil's cricketing prowess extends beyond the WPL. She has been a consistent performer for Karnataka, making her debut in 2019. In the 2022-23 Women's Senior One Day Trophy, she left her mark by finishing as the second-highest wicket-taker, showcasing her ability to excel at the domestic level.

Patil made her international debut in June 2023 when she was called up to play in the 2023 ACC Women's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup where she already kept a remarkable foot down as she became the highest wicket-taker in the tournament as well, taking nine wickets.

From representing her native state Karnataka in Ranji's and under-16 tournaments with excellent prowess, Patil has made a remarkable journey from being a fan of the RCB to becoming one of the star players of the team in the initial start of her playing career.

Shreyanka Patil's rise is a significant development for Indian women's cricket. As she continues to develop her all-rounder abilities, Patil is sure to be a name to watch in the years to come, both for RCB and the Indian national team.
