MP Man Gets Hit By Train While Shooting Vide: Why People Risk Their Lives?

The widespread reach of Internet has indeed made the world smaller and has given opportunities to millions of us but it also has an ill-side. In the race to go viral, individuals have been seen engaging in questionable acts which not only endangers their own lives but also pushes badly influences others to follow. Are the likes and shares worth someone's life?

Almost after every few weeks, similar incidents make headlines where someone passed away while trying to record themselves at a dangerous spot. The death of Hong Kong influencer Sophia Cheung, Chinese celebrity Xio Qiumei and Turkish influencer Kubra Dogan are a few of the many examples of such incidents. Earlier this year in July, a woman in Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi reportedly shot herself while clicking a selfie with a gun which she did not know was loaded. A three-year-old baby died by drowning in 2018 in Surat because reportedly her parents were busy taking selfie at a lake.

Who is to blame for such incidents? Sure the carelessness of the individuals is a factor but what about the one's who came out alive in first few dangerous situations and saw their content go viral on social media? Should the viewers of such content take a little bit accountably? The 22-year-old man in Madhya Pradesh will not be alive to see his video get posted on social media. He should have been made aware that such videos with high risk of death are not welcome on the internet. That the one's who come across such a thing would raise an alarm.
