Souparnika Nair was inspired to take up music at the age of two and by five she started performing in school talent shows.

The overnight sensation whose singing went viral on the Internet now has a singing offer from Himesh Reshammiya. The Indian actor and singer feels that Mandal is God gifted and so, he has offered her a singing contract in the upcoming movie, Happy Hardy and Heer.

When it comes to Mandal and her singing, she says that she can pick up any song, though she never had the good fortune of being formally trained in music. “My favourite singers are Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi, and Mukesh.” she says.

Suchetha Satish, a class 7 student, is set to create a Guinness World Record. The 12-year-old aims to sing songs in as many as 80 languages in one concert.
