Yami Gautam-Aditya Dhar Wedding: Actor Says What's Meant for You, Finds You

Yami Gautam mehendi photos out: After surprising fans with the news of her nuptials on Friday, June 4, actor Yami Gautam has now shared pictures from her Mehendi ceremony on her Instagram account. In the pictures, the actor can be seen wearing a yellow salwar suit that featured gota patti work. Groom Aditya Dhar is seen sitting beside the actor in one of the pictures.

Gautam captioned her Mehendi ceremony pictures with a quote by Kashmiri mystic Lalleshwari, "O dear one, why worry? What is meant for you will always, always find you."

Yami Gautam got married to film director Aditya Dhar in a private ceremony on June 4 in the presence of close friends and family. The newlywed couple took to social media to announce the news along with their wedding photographs.

Later in the day, few more pictures from the wedding ceremony surfaced on the fan pages of the couple. In the pictures, Gautam was seen in a red saree with a dupatta on her head performing wedding rituals with Dhar. In one of the pictures, a relative was also seen putting anklets on her feet.

Filmmaker Aditya Dhar also posted the picture of their wedding ceremony on his Twitter account writing, "With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. We celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes." (sic.)

Before the news of their wedding, not a lot was known about the couple's relationship as they wanted to keep it private. However, the couple worked together in the film Uri: The Surgical Strike directed by Dhar in which Gautam played a key role.

On the work front, Gautam will be seen in a horror comedy film Bhoot Police in which she will be seen alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Saif Ali Khan, and Arjun Kapoor. She will also feature in the film Dasvi with Abhishek Bachchan.
