Actor Yami Gautam Ties The Knot With Filmmaker Aditya Dhar

Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar are married! The duo tied the knot June 4 in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by close family.

The newly married couple also shared a snap of themselves from the ceremony. While Gautam went for a traditional red wedding saree and headcover, decked in gold jewellery, Dhar donned a cream-coloured sherwani and turban.

Dhar is known for his directorial debut Uri: The Surgical Strike. The 2019 film starred Gautam, Vicky Kaushal and Paresh Rawal in leading roles. Gautam, who made her mark in Bollywood with 2012 film Vicky Donor, has delivered several successes since. She was last seen in Ginny Weds Sunny in 2020, alongside Vikrant Massey.

Dhar, sharing the wedding photo on his social media profiles, wrote, "Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family." The couple, in their Instagram announcements, has added a quote by Persian poet Rumi, which reads, "In your light, I learn to love."

Massey, congratulating the couple, wrote in the comments, "Bahut bahut bahut badhaaiyaan Yami ji and Bhai sahab... Incredible. God bless you both!!!! Dher saara pyaar!!!"

Actor Vaani Kapoor wished the couple saying, "Congratulations ❤️"

Entrepreneur Ronnie Screwvala, under Gautam's Twitter post, remarked, "To a very very special couple.
