Madhuri Dixit made her grand OTT debut this year with the thriller series The Fame Game. Produced by Karan Johar, the web series features a stellar cast including Manav Kaul, Sanjay Kapoor, Lakshvir Saran and Muskkaan Jaferi. The Fame Game revolves around Bollywood superstar Anamika Anand, played by Dixit, who goes missing from her home. Anamika's so-called perfect personal life unravels in the eye of media and police, as family secrets come tumbling out one after the other in the wake of her disappearance. It turns out that Anamika was in an unhappy marriage and was having an affair with an old co-star. Not just that, a person close to her also betrays her, leaking one of her best-kept secrets to the media.

While Manav Kaul plays the role of Anamika's old flame in the series, Sanjay Kapoor enacts the role of her husband. Actors Lakshvir Saran and Muskkaan Jaferi essay the roles of Anamika's grown-up kids.

1. Muskkaan Jaferi is the daughter of late comedian Jagdeep and thus is the step-sister of actor-dancer and host Javed Jaafrey and his brother Naved Jaffrey.

2. The 28-year-old hails from the city of Mumbai in Maharashtra.

3. Muskkaan Jaferi made her acting debut in a short film called Medium in 2016.

4. Following her debut she went on to act in various web series and movies such as The Good Karma Hospital in 2017, Nobleman in 2018. She rose to fame with her character in Netflix Mismatched, Portraying Celine Mathews, roommate of lead actor Prajakta Kohli's character.

5. Jaferi has been quite involved in theatre and has appeared in plays like Mother Courage and her Children alongside Arundhati Nag in 2017, Faazeh Jalali directorial, A Farming Story in 2018, and Bone Of Contention. She also worked on the Hindi adaptation of Khaled Hosseini's critically acclaimed novel The Kite Runner, which was directed by Akarsh Khurana.

6. Apart from working as an actor and a theatre artist, she has also worked as a voice-over artist in over 20 movies, including the most recent, Bheeshma (2022), over 10 animated films including the Hindi adaptation of Moana, Alita: Battle Angel, Ralph Breaks the Internet and even series like Stranger Things to name a few.

7. Muskkaan was also featured in a magazine for a Honda Ad promotion in 2017.

8. She is regularly seen posting videos of her songe covers and dance videos on Instagram.

9. She is also very fond of sketching and often shares her portraits on her social media.

10. Muskkaan's half-brother Javed Jaaferi, has previously worked with Madhuri Dixit in 1991, in a thriller movie called 100 Days.
