Khan is a 16-year-old girl who is featured in the upcoming Marvel television series, named Ms Marvel. She has shape-shifting, elongation and healing powers.

She is a central character to the plot and fights beside Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America. "I think it's absolutely insane that Kamala is in one of the biggest Marvel games that we've done. The fact that she's the entry point character in this game makes so much sense. People from all backgrounds can relate to her," said Ms Marvel creator Amanat.

Khan is a Pakistani American, who is from Jersey City in New Jersey, the United States. She discovers that she has inhuman genes and receives the title of Ms Marvel, following in the footsteps of her idol Carol Danvers, popularly known as Captain Marvel.

In 2015, Ms Marvel won the Hugo Award for the Best Graphic Story. She is portrayed on screen by Pakistani-Canadian actor Iman Vellani in the series Ms Marvel. She will also be a part of the film The Marvel, which is scheduled to release in 2023.
