Who Is Kamakshi Khanna? Singer Behind The Fame Game Trailer Music

The trailer of Madhuri Dixit starrer The Fame Game was released on February 10. The background score behind the trailer was accompanied by a melody at the end.

Dixit will make her digital debut with the series on Netflix on February 25. The series has been produced by Karan Johar. As per the details of the plot revealed so far, Dixit will play the role of a famous actor named Anamika Anand who goes missing. The story then unfolds as the police try to find out about her imperfect life.

As for the trailer, the song featured in it has been produced by OAFF aka Kabeer Kathpalia and the song is titled Duur. The music video of the song featuring the singer Kamakshi Khanna released in June 2021. For the uninitiated, OAFF has also composed music for Deepika Padukone starrer film Gehraiyaan which is also going to release this month.

Who Is Kamakshi Khanna ?

According to the biodata of Kamakshi Khanna available on Spotify application, she is takes interest in Rhythm and Blue, Soul to Pop and Indie Folk genres. She is a singer-songwriter Delhi. In 2017, Khanna released her full-length album titled Cakewalk. Before that, she had rose to fame with her Extended Play (EP) titled Much Mellow in 2014.

Khanna is also seen doing covers of popular songs. She recently released a single titled Taare and Qareeb.

The Fame Game Series:

The thriller series has been created by Sri Rao. The same director has made popular films such as Badmaash Company, New York and Baar Baar Dekho. The producers of the show are Apoorva Mehta, Karan Johar, Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment Private Ltd.

The series has been directed by Bejoy Nambiar who is know for films such as Wazir, Karwaan, Karishna Kohli, Taish  among others. Nambiar also worked on a short film titled The Woman Under The Tree which also showed a female superstar beyond the camera.
