Deepika Singh put out a message of calming oneself and embracing nature in her Instagram caption. “You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself, embrace the nature and its gloomy moods because the storm will pass”. Singh added that the uprooted tree from the picture fell outside her house but nobody got hurt from it.
Many Instagram users have criticised Singh for her tone-deafness during a crisis like this. They pointed out her privilege to enjoy the storm while many people are struggling for their lives and properties. One user wrote, “People are dying in cyclone and people like you enjoying this. What a shame”.

Deepika Singh is a television actor popularly known for her role in the television serial Diya Aur Baati Hum. Singh has won several awards for her acting.
The television star completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing at Punjab Technical University. Singh has also been training herself in the classical Odissi dance form.
Singh is married to Rohit Raj Goyal who is a director of her television serial. After her marriage and pregnancy in 2017, the actor decided to take a short break from the entertainment industry.
