Who Is Banita Sandhu: OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has announced that Shoojit Sircar”s upcoming directorial Sardar Udham starring Vicky Kaushal and Banita Sindhu will premiere on October 16. The movie will chronicle the story of the legendary Indian revolutionary, Sardar Udham Singh and his courage with which he avenged the death of his countrymen.

Here’s what you need to know about Banita Sandhu

  • She was born on 22 June 1997.
  • She is a British actor who primarily works in Indian films. She was raised in Caerleon, Wales.
  • She was 18 when she moved to London to start her degree in English Literature at King’s College London.
  • Her Bollywood debut was in 2018 Hindi film October.
  • She has also worked in Tamil film Adithya Varma and then in the American science fiction series Pandora (both 2019)
  • Varun Dhawan, her co-star in October, said that she is a selfless and giving actress. He also said she has put an unbelievable amount of work in her first film.
  • In the film, she is seen playing a hotel management student. She shares a complex yet charismatic relationship with her fellow-student Dan which is essayed by Varun.
  • Sandhu appeared in a chewing gum advertisement which had the song Ek Ajnabee Haseena Se as the background score. Her second advertisement was for Vodafone India and was broadcast during the Indian Premier League cricket season.
  • In an interview, she revealed that she is looking forward to working with actors like Aamir Khan, Irrfan Khan and Alia Bhatt.
