When Will Westworld Season 4 Release ?

Westworld season 4 release date was finally announced through a creepy trailer teaser. With Lou Reed's Perfect Day playing in the background, the trailer goes extremely dark with spotless white backdrops. The release date of the science-fiction drama has assured fans that their favourite show is coming back for the fourth run.

It is an HBO drama. The announcement of it has come across as weird as generally HBO drama series are announced months in advance, whereas they kept the details of the show strictly under wraps. However, the teaser trailer seems to compensate for any delay in announcements.

The snippets of the short video suggest that there might be some bugs in the system. The series follows the uprising of humanoid robots. The show was last seen on air in May 2020. The upcoming season is about "a dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on earth."

The old cast is making a comeback. It includes Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul and Angela Sarafyan. The showrunners are Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.

Season 3 was aired in 2020 and then the new season was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The show is based on Michael Crichton's 1973 film of the same name. While talking to Deadline about the upcoming season, Wright said, "We wrapped last December, but I'm not exactly sure when it's coming out. Season 4 is going to be more of the Westworld you've come to expect and more digging down into some issues and some technology that is going to look familiar to us, as always. It's gonna be exciting. I'm not sure exactly when we're to air but within the coming months, certainly."

The show was renewed for season 4 in April 2020. The HBO programming president Casey Bloys said, "From the Western theme part to the technocratic metropolis of the near future, we've thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn from the minds of master storytellers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy."
