Based on the heinous crimes taking place in the capital city of Delhi, the show stars Shefali Shah as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi and Rasika Duggal as IPS Neeti Singh who work together to maintain law and order in Delhi. The Netflix show has two seasons, the first one that released in 2019 was based on the aftermath and investigation of the 2012 Delhi gang rape that shocked the country. The second season released in 2022 was based on finding the chaddi baniyan gang.

Mardaani

This movie is regarded as one of the best movies of actor Rani Mukherjee's career. The actor plays the role of Senior Inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy of the Mumbai Crime Branch. The first movie tells Roy's journey of capturing a notorious child trafficking gang and saving the children from being sold. The second movie was about a psychopath who kidnapped and raped young girls and brutally murdered them. Roy's character, in both movies, tries to stop the culprit before they harm another victim.

Hush Hush

This Amazon Prime web series depicts the reality behind the lavish and dreamy-looking life of the rich class. The series stars Karishma Tanna as police officer Geeta who is keen to find the truth behind four female friends belonging to the upper class of society and their involvement in a criminal case in Gurugram. The four friends are caught up in a circle of lies and end up in a gravely dangerous situation.

This crime thriller stars Tabu as Meera G Deshmukh, Goa's Inspector General who is investigating the missing case of her son. The accused are the Salgaonkar family as her son was suspected to be at their home for the last time. However, when the police interrogate the family and try to find clues, they are stuck and for some reason are not able to prove them guilty. The movie also has a sequel which shows a series of incidents that take place years after the case which again troubles the Salgaonkar family.

This Disney Plus Hotstar movie stars Neha Dhupia in the role of ACP Catherine "Cathy" Alvarez who is in charge of the case where a nursery teacher Naina (Yami Gautam) holds 16 students hostage and asks the authorities to fulfil her demands. Alvarez has to work with police officer Javed Khan played by Atul Kulkarni and the two are not compatible. Alvarez searches to find Naina's history and tries to bring all the pieces together to find a solution to the problem.

This Netflix web series stars Aaditi Pohankar as Bhumika Pardeshi, a poor Indian Police Force officer who is sent on a mission to track and fight one of the most dangerous drug lords by Anti Narcotics Group. She goes undercover in Mumbai as a prostitute and operates her mission. On the other hand, she also has to handle her drunkard husband, her divorce, her ailing mother and her sister's education as she is the sole breadwinner in the family.

Shiksha Mandal

This MX Player cop drama series stars Gauahar Khan in the role of a daring police officer Anuradha Singh Shrivastava. The story is based on the true incident of one of India's biggest medical entrance exams. A coaching teacher finds out that her sister is trapped in the dangerous web of education scams which is operated by education mafias. Anuradha Singh decided to bring down the dangerous syndicate at all costs to save the future of innocent students.
