Comedia Shamita Yadav, who goes by the name "The Ranting Gola" on social media, released a video on Friday, calling out media's reporting in the latest cruise ship drugs bust case, that let to the arrest of star son Aryan Khan. Yadav can be seen imitating a popular Hindi news anchor in the video, talking about "kis tarah Aryan Khan ne apni zulfein sawari" and more.
Yadav, who enjoys close to 12,000 followers on both Instagram and Twitter impersonates news anchor Anjana "Home" Kashyap in her new video in which she talks about Varun Gandhi, Adani Port and Lakhimpur.
Taking a shot a Kashyap for being shown the door by Sneha Dubey, India's First Secretary at the United Nations, after she tried to gauge an exclusive byte from the Indian Foreign Services Officer, Yadav says that "I should now sit at home," thus the middle name. Giving a twist to Kashyap's television show, Yadav names her segment "Dalla Bol".
Yadav takes a shot at Indian media's tendencycy to deflect from the crucial topics and to find every possible way to divert the news coverage to Pakistan in any given situation. "Since people are getting killed by coming in front of bullets in Kashmir and cars in Lucknow, in today's Dalla Bol we will talk about how arms smuggling in Pakistan and its involvement in spreading terrorism across India," she says.
She also talks about the seizure of 3,000 kilograms of heroin from Adani-operated Mundra port in Gujarat last week, which is now being investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and how the media is rather giving attention to the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan in a drugs case. "3000 kilos of drugs were recovered from Voldermont's port (since he can't be named) and that's why in Dalla Bol today we will talk about Aryan Khan set his hair, spent a night in jail and spoke to his father."
