Samantha Gets Call From Ex-Husband, Naga Chaitanya To Know About Her Health

After learning she had myositis, Samantha Ruth Prabhu got her first phone call from her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, after their separation. Since Prabhu and Chaitanya's divorce was officially revealed in October of last year, there have been numerous rumours about what led to their separation. Still, neither of them has made any public comments about it.

In a recent lengthy post on her Instagram, Samantha Ruth Prabhu discussed myositis, an inflammatory disease with which she has been diagnosed. The actress's supporters on the photo-sharing website showered her with love and well-wishes. According to recent sources, the actor and ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, reportedly spoke to her on the call and inquired about her health.

According to News18, Naga Chaitanya could not meet his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu owing to their respective professional commitments. Still, he was able to call her and inquire about her health. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu were married for over four years before announcing their divorce in 2021. Prabhu also pointed out their split wasn't amicable during her appearance on Koffee With Karan.

After Prabhu recently stated her health condition, rumours were going around that Chaitanya and his father, veteran actor Nagarjuna, intended to visit Prabhu in the hospital. Regardless of Prabhu's connections to the family, according to sources, Nagarjuna has been open about his great bond with her. According to rumours, the Telugu actor could arrange a meeting with his ex-daughter-in-law given their close relationship. The two did not share an amicable relationship post-divorce and Prabhu herself admitted it in the show Koffee With Karan recently.
