Rupali Ganguly Birthday Special: Actor Rupali Ganguly is celebrating her 45th birthday today. She stars in the television serial Anupamaa which has turned out to be a huge hit among Indian audiences as it discusses issues like domestic violence, infidelity, and mental health amongst others. In a recent interview, she revealed that a part of the credit for her renewed fame goes to her husband as well who acted as a pillar of support to her and her career.
She explained how her businessman husband, Ashwin K Verma took a break from work to take care of the couple’s son and home so that his wife could focus on her career.
She talked at length about how her husband is making it easier for her to work post motherhood. She said that her son would go to school at 12 and return at 7. She had never thought that COVID-19 lockdown would happen. At the same time, the show was offered to her and her husband encouraged her to accept the offer and told her that it was high time she got her due as an actor. He managed everything single-handedly. She confessed that she felt like a career but her husband does so much and she's happy about it.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, she said that her husband played the role of mother and set a wonderful example for her son.

Speaking to the Times of India, Rupali said that her husband was loving the present romantic track between Anuj Kapadia and Anupamaa since they both watch the show together. She said that he is her biggest critic as well as her biggest supporter and also gives feedback where he feels the need to. He has directed a few commercials and catches the nuances easily and she tries to incorporate it as much as she can.
