Calendar Girls star Ruhi Singh made her comeback with MX Original Series, Runaway Lugaai in which she can be seen a bride named Bulbul who runs away on the morning after her wedding.

The web series starring Sanjay Mishra and Naveen Kasturia marks the digital debut of the model and actor.

Talking about her character in the show, Singh said that she feels like she is breaking stereotypes when playing Bulbul which makes it an even more exciting character to play. Singh also added that she wanted to play the character with authenticity and full honesty and tried to do the same.

Singh explained her character Bulbul in the show saying that Bulbul is a dreamer and fighter who fights for her freedom and the old ways of society in a light-hearted way.
