Television actor Rubina Dilaik is a household name, due to her roles on hit shows like Chhoti Bahu and Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. The former beauty pageant contestant has also been part of serials like Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and Jeannie Aur Juju.
Five things to know about Rubina Dilaik's Bollywood debut
In the month of June this year, music director Palash Muchhal announced his directorial venture but did not reveal much details. Sharing a couple of pictures with Rajpal Yadav, he wrote, "All set to start my next."
Despite her prolific Hindi television career, Dilaik has never featured on the silver screen. Actors Rajpal Yadav and Hiten Tejwani will star alongside Dilaik u>in her Bollywood debut vehicle.
Dilaik's fans were excited to see the news and requested her to confirm it. "Omgg Best news today if it's true !! @RubiDilaik pls confirm it yourself," wrote a user. "SOCIAL MEDIA QUEEN RUBINA," said another. A third fan commented, "Ok I am going to cry now. Happy for you queen @RubiDilaik."
Commenting on the composer-turned-director post regarding the film's announcement, Hiten Tejwani wrote, "Let's rock it," to which Muchhal said, "Yes Bro". Actor Samaira Rao and singer Amit Mishra congratulated the Musafir composer on making his debut as a director and he thanked them.
So far, Rubina Dilaik has not shared any information regarding the movie.
