The actor who is known for his ultra-successful roles in the movies like National Treasure, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, and the Ghost Rider, has recently made the announcement of tying the knot with Riko Shibata for the fifth time.

He mentioned in a &t=15s">statement, "She left New York and went back to Kyoto, Japan, and I went back to Nevada and I haven't seen her for six months." Cage further added, "We're really happy together and we're really excited to spend that time together, so I finally just said, 'Look, I wanna marry you,' and we got engaged on FaceTime."

The actor is currently 57 while Shibata is 26. They tied the knot on February 16, 2021. This would mark the fifth marriage of Cage. His previous marriages included actress Patricia Arquette between 1995 and 2001, and then Lisa Marie Presley from 2002 to 2004.

Then he had married Alice Kim, with whom he shares his 15-year-old son Kal-El. And his fourth marriage was nothing pleasant with makeup artist Erika Koike in 2019. Cage filed an annulment while Koike sued him for spousal support.

About his recent marriage, Nicholas Cage said to USA Today, "It's true, and we are very happy."
