Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s wedding has been on the cards for a long time now. The couple had made it clear that they are intending to tie the knot soon after they got engaged. However, the COVID-19 pandemic had indefinitely stalled their plans. That could soon change.
If reports are to be believed, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal will be getting married soon and the preparations for the ceremony are already underway. The couple had been in a relationship for seven years when Fazal finally proposed to Chadha in 2019 on their trip to the Maldives for her birthday.
Richa Chadha Ali Fazal Wedding To Happen Soon?
After meeting on the sets of their 2o12 film Fukrey, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal fell in love and soon realised that they were in it for a long run. Talking about their relationship, Richa Chadha once revealed that she was the one who confessed first and it was when they were watching Chaplin together at her home. Three months later, Ali Fazal finally said, “I Love You” to her and the couple decided to keep their relationship a secret for five years. Their first public appearance as a couple was in 2017 in Venice at the World Premiere of Ali Fazal’s film Victoria And Abdul.
Chadha recently admitted in an interview that their wedding was reportedly supposed to happen in 2020 following which there were rumours that they were getting hitched in March 2022. However, that was not true but the new updates seem to be that the two will get hitched in September 2022. The couple will probably be having two ceremonies, one in Mumbai and the other in Delhi.
On work front, Chadha will be seen in new seasons of her popular OTT shows Fukrey 3, Inside Edge 4, Candy and The Great Indian Murder. Fazal, on the other hand, wrapped up Gerard Butler-starrer Kandahar in January this year. His fans are also waiting to see him in third season of his popular OTT series Mirzapur.
