Pavitra Rishta 2 Release Date And Time: Actor Ankita Lokhande is returning to the small screen. This time, she will be seen in the reboot of her hit television serial Pavitra Rishta. Actor Shaheer Sheikh has been roped in to essay the character of Manav. His character was earlier played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who passed away last year. He will be seen opposite Lokhande's character Archana.

The original television series used to stream on Zee TV. Pavitra Rishta 2.0, however, will be streaming on OTT.

Pavitra Rishta’s legacy

The story of Pavitra Rishta revolved around Mumbai-based Archana. Her mother gets her hitched to a mechanic named Manav. She mistook him to be a mechanical engineer who owns a garage. The two had contrasting backgrounds but they started falling in love with each other. Lokhande and Rajput were in a relationship in real life too but Rajput quit Pavitra Rishta to pursue a career in films. Hiten Tejwani started playing his character in the show. As per the trailer, the story of Pavitra Rishta 2.0 seems to be similar to the original series and the duo will get married due to a misunderstanding but fall in love in the end. Read more about it here.

Pavitra Rishta 2.0 will start streaming on OTT platforms from September 15.

Where to watch Pavitra Rishta 2.0

The series will be available for streaming exclusively on ZEE5 from September 15 onwards. After 55 days of its premiere, however, it will also be made available on ALTBalaji.
