Here's Where And When You Can Watch Pavitra Rishta 2.0
Pavitra Rishta will be exclusively available on ZEE5 for 55 days. Post that, it will also be available on ALTBalaji. It will premier on 15th September.
Pavitra Rishta 2.0 Release Date: ZEE TV’s popular show Pavitra Rishta is all set to return in a digital avatar on OTT platform. Starring Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh in the lead roles, Pavitra Rishta 2.0's teaser was launched on August 28.
Sharing the teaser on social media, Lokhande wrote, “Love toh hoga hi in the air, jab Manav and Archana are there! Join them in the journey of love that will soon turn into #PavitraRishta.”
The first season of the daily soap ran for over 1200 episodes It went on air in 2009 and ran for six years. It featured Lokhande as Archana and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav. Interestingly, the two had also fallen in love while shooting for the show. Rajput, however, quit the show to fulfil his Bollywood dreams. The two also broke up eventually. The new show will also have veteran actor Usha Nadkarni who acted in season 1 as well. It also features Hiten Tejwani, Asha Negi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Veer Mehra.
The announcement of the launch of the show wasn't met with positive reviews as Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans were upset with the fact that his iconic role of Manav in the original daily soap will now be played by Shaheer Sheikh. According to them, it was difficult for any actor to do justice to Manav's character. Some had also alleged that makers of the show were using Rajput’s fame to mint money. Rajput’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande was trolled for agreeing to be a part of the iconic show’s next season.
