Mismatched 2 Release Date Announced, Series To Release In Oct!

Mismatched is back with its second season. The second season of the Akarsh Khurana-helmed show's premiere date has finally been revealed by the streaming service. The recent teaser revealed that even though Dimple and Rishi have returned, things between them are strained. The summer programme is coming to an end for the gang at Aravali with twice the drama, twice the love interests, and twice the rivalry.

The 2017 young adult romance novel When Dimple Met Rishi by Indian-American author Sandhya Menon is the inspiration for the web series Mismatched. The show debuted in 2020 and the coming-of-age romance drama in Season 1, showed Dimple, the brilliant coder, losing her app. Rishi, the hopeless romantic, has given up on love. Dimple and Rishi must cross the rocky terrain of strained friendships, new romantic interests, broken promises, academic stress, and startling rivalries while their futures are on the line.

However, Season 1 provided a dramatic and thrilling conclusion that kept the audience on the edge of their seats and piqued their interest in what might happen next. The unanswered doubts concerning whether Dimple and Rishi would eventually find each other might, perhaps, be resolved this season. The public has been waiting impatiently for the second season of the show ever since it was first released.

Prajakta Koli as Dimple Ahuja, Ranvijay Singha as Professor Siddharth Sinha, and Rohit Saraf as Rishi Singh Shekhawat all play significant roles in the star cast. Mismatched explores interpersonal conflicts and the range of emotions that come with youth as Dimple, Rishi, and their peers attempt to deal with these newly discovered complexities.
