The show is one of India's most popular chat shows, with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, and Kareena Kapoor among the guests. Here are some of the top moments over the years on Koffee with Karan.

Koffee With Karan Top Moments

  • The episode with Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar in Season 6 was hilarious because it was amusing to watch Kumar squirm as his usually outspoken wife delivered a series of uncensored remarks. In the episode, Kumar revealed that the couple has a special code called "chashma pehen le" that instructs Khanna to zip it. When Twinkle Khanna said that she had a questionnaire created by her four-year-old daughter, Nitara, specifically for him, host Karan Johar struggled even more than Akshay Kumar.
  • In an episode in which she appeared with Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor was asked what she would do if she were trapped in an elevator with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. "Listen, I would sooner kill myself than be in this haalat (Situation)," stated Kareena Kapoor, who recorded the episode while she was pregnant. It was interesting to watch Kapoor's unusual and outlandish responses to Johar's questions during this show.
  • Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma appeared in one of the episodes, and Kaif revealed to Karan Johar that Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan founded the "I Hate Katrina Kaif Club," which began when she and Salman Khan were strolling down Bandstand and Khan noticed Varun Dhawan "looking her out." She stated, "Varun got into a tiff with Salman over it, and the club was formed as a result. I understand why Varun began it, but I'm not sure why Arjun decided to join."
  • Kangana Ranaut called Karan Johar the "Bollywood Mafia" and a snobbish flag bearer of nepotism during his talk show in early 2017. The conversation subsequently sparked the famed nepotism issue in the Hindi film industry, which is still a hot topic of conversation on social media today.
  • While welcoming Salman Khan to the show, Karan Johar claimed that it had taken him "many years" to "get him on the couch," and that now that he had, Karan made sure to say intriguing things. One response that drew national attention was when the Dabangg actor disclosed that he is still a virgin and is saving up for his future spouse. Soon after Salman Khan's disclosure, a visibly astonished and surprised Karan Johar inquired whether this meant he was still a virgin, to which Salman Khan responded by looking him in the eyes and nodding yes.
