Producer-Filmmaker Karan Johar has recently announced that his famous chat show Koffee With Karan won't be returning to our screens now. He took to social media to share the important note.

It read, “Hello, Koffee With Karan has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now. I’d like to think we’ve made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee With Karan will not be returning. Karan Johar.”

His post has left many Koffee with Karan fans heartbroken who used to look forward to seeing their favourite celebrities get candid and cheeky with the host.

1. It was in early 2017 when Kangana Ranaut called Karan Johar, the movie mafia and the snooty flag bearer of nepotism on his chat show. The conversation then gave rise to the infamous nepotism debate in the Hindi film industry that continues to be the hot topic of discussion on social media till today.
2. The episode, where cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul were invited as guests, grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons. Both Hardik and Rahul were suspended by BCCI and were fined Rs. 20 lakhs for making sexist and misogynistic comments against women.
3. In an episode where Sonam Kapoor was the guest, Karan Johar asked her if she was bothered that people talk about other female actors in the acting department. Her response was, "If you are not good looking, they think you are a good actor." This statement of hers created a lot of stir in the industry and she got a lot of backlash for the same.
