Kangana Ranaut Dhaakad: Congress leaders in Madya Pradesh’s Betul district threatened to stall the shoot for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Dhaakad if the Ranaut did not apologise to farmers for her tweets.
Ranaut’s tweets on farmers’ protests have been controversial. At one point she even called the protesting farmers terrorists and Twitter has deleted some of her controversial tweets about the farmers’ protests.
Congress leaders have alleged that Ranaut’s tweets have painted farmers in a negative manner. The shoot for Dhaakad has been taking place in Sarni area of the Betul district. The leaders have demanded that Ranaut apologise by the evening of February 12, 2021, or else the shooting of her film will be stalled.

After Congress leaders threatened to stall the shoot for Dhaakad, Bharatiya Janta Party’s leader and State Home Minister Narottam Mishra assured that the government will ensure “behan-beti” Ranaut will face no issues during shooting.
Kangana Ranaut reacted to the threat by tweeting-

Kangana Ranaut's tweets have been met with both support and criticism. Some believe that the actress is fearless and support her for standing up for what she believes is right. Others have slammed her for being hypocritical and insulting the farmers.
